Drawn to Imperfection

Dear friends,

We are writing with an invitation to join us in an exciting venture, which will be happening at High Street Methodist, from July 3-10 this year!

We are hosting an art exhibition called “Drawn to Imperfection” featuring works by the Christian artist Dave Nevard.

We feel it’s a tremendous opportunity for outreach and growth, as well as us coming together as Christians in Witney.

Dave’s exhibition has been held at various prominent places across England including York Minster and Dorchester Abbey.
It also featured on Songs of Praise in the spring of last year.

The large black and white portraits are of different Bible characters and speak powerfully for themselves. QR codes link to the verses and the moment which inspired each painting.

The event will be set up on July 1st and launch officially on Friday 3 July.
We see it as an opportunity to welcome and offer hospitality to all visitors, providing teas and homemade cakes, as well as space to relax and reflect. We are trusting that God will work his work amongst us all!

 And if you would like to join us on team in the preparations and/ or the week of the exhibition, that would be fantastic!

We are looking for people with interests in social media, publicity and marketing, baking, serving teas, welcoming, listening, praying ( both behind the scenes and for prayer ministry ) and many other roles we may not yet have thought of!
